Music lecture offered

Learn about the music that grew out of the period during and between the 20th-century wars at the December free music lecture by Paul M. Somers, sponsored by the Bay-Atlantic Symphony. In this final installment of a four-part series examining the effects of history on music during the last two centuries, you will see how the music scene evolved from Irving Berlin to Beatles and beyond.

Ventnor

Winter Craft Show date changed

Due to Hurricane Sandy, the date for the annual Ventnor Winter Craft Show has been changed to Dec. 1-2.

The event will take place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Ventnor City Cultural Art Center Art Studio (behind the library) at 6500 Atlantic Ave. For more information call the Winter Show Committee at 609-823-7952.
