Fundraiser to benefit man with lymphoma

On July 28, a fundraiser will be held for Harris Ardelean, a longtime Margate resident who recently received a diagnosis of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Ardelean is self-employed with six children, and until he became ill, he worked landscaping and driving a jitney, and is involved with youth sports.

The family oriented fundraiser will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. July 28 at the Margate Log Cabin on Jerome Avenue in Margate. The event includes children's activities, children’s characters, face painting, live music by local musicians, food and silent auctions. Tickets will be available the day of the event.
