Book-signing planned
A book signing for “Eat Your Vegetables” will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Dec. 9 at Malelani Cafe, 5205 Atlantic Ave.
Local author Leesa Toscano and illustrator Janet Bodoff, both of Ventnor City, have teamed up to get the word out to children about eating healthier. Leesa wrote the book for her daughter, then 3 years old, because she would not try any vegetables. Her daughter, Melissa, is now 21 and a vegetarian.
There will be entertainment by Dylan Martello. Bodoff will sell her homemade jewelry.
