Margate woman works to find new home for MAPS fundraiser

Rose Silverman, of Margate, and Sharon Aloi, of Atlantic City, are trying to find a new casino location for MAPS’ Sounds and the Season Festival of Dance and Song, which is the organization’s main fundraiser. The four-week event has outgrown the space it had at Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. The event has also been staged at Caesars, Tropicana and the Taj Mahal.

Margate resident Rose Silverman, MAPS event director and founder, said, ‘What we need is a casino like Borgata or Revel or Harrah’s, set up for evening entertainment. That would be ideal for us.’
