A North Carolina man was arrested for driving on a suspended license after he drove off the boardwalk in Ventnor and eventually became stuck on the beach in Margate, where a passer-by called in the incident, police said.
Yougeshua Narine, 33, of Chapel Hill, was arrested for Monday's incident, which occurred about 4:42 p.m., for the criminal offense of driving on a suspended license, and was also charged with DWI, police said.
Narine is currently in Atlantic County jail with bail set at $5,000 cash.
