May receives certificate

The Academy of Culinary Arts at Atlantic Cape Community College awarded certificates to nine students who completed a five-month noncredit Culinary Arts Training Program on Nov. 14, and among them was Anita May, of Ventnor.

The students received their certificates during an awards ceremony in Careme’s, the student-run gourmet restaurant at the Academy. Chef Jon Davies, of Cape May, an adjunct instructor, taught the course.

The next course begins Jan. 7, at Atlantic Cape’s Cape May County Campus, 341 Court House-South Dennis Road, in Cape May Court House. Restaurateurs can sponsor a promising employee with a scholarship for the program.
