A Linwood man charged with filing five years' of false income tax returns has had his bail revoked and was sent to a federal prison, according to the U.S. Federal Court in Camden.

Frank Dominico, 67, was charged with failing to report about $2.5 million in personal income from his job as treasurer and president of General Glass Equipment Co. in Absecon.

Dominico was also accused of falsely claiming mortgage interest on his home and submitting a number of W-2 forms to the IRS that included false information.

Each of the five charges in the indictment carries a maximum penalty of three years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

A federal court clerk in Camden confirmed that Dominico was remanded to the custody of U.S. marshals after a hearing before Judge Noel Hillman on March 6. The prosecution requested that Dominico’s bail be revoked after he failed to obey a court order.

Dominico was taken to a federal prison in advance of his trial, scheduled to begin in July.
