A candlelight vigil will be held at 8 p.m. today for the Mainland Regional High School football players killed and injured in a single-car crash Saturday morning.

The vigil will take place at the high school football field, 1301 Oak Ave., in Linwood. In the event of rain, it will be moved indoors to the school cafeteria.

Edgar Bozzi, Casey Brenner, Dean Khoury, and Nick Conner were killed in the crash.

Four others, Alex Denafo, Jacob Smith, Kyle Beattie and Kenny Randall, were injured and taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, city campus, for treatment.
