Dementia/Alzheimer’s care education seminar

The Richard Simon Foundation of Alzheimer’s will present an educational seminar for family caregivers and professionals dealing with practical strategies for the management of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Linwood Country Club, 600 Shore Road, Linwood.

Singers wanted

The Mainland Choral Society is inviting singers to join in rehearsals for their 25th anniversary spring concert, “Songs of Hope and Encouragement,” on May 3.

Elaine King, former director of music at Greentree Ministries, will conduct the group. Rehearsals begin at 7 p.m. Jan. 30 in the nave of Christ Church, Shore Road and Meyran Avenue, Somers Point. Remaining rehearsals will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays. A nominal membership fee will be charged.
