Benefit to aid Little League coach
A fundraiser for Little League coach Mike Orzek, of Linwood, is taking place from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 21 at Clancy’s By The Bay, 101 E. Maryland Avenue in Somers Point.
Orzek has a rare blood disorder called POEMS syndrome, which causes blood plasma cells to grow out of control. After years of misdiagnosis, Orzek on track to recover with the help of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
