Dedication set at high school

Mainland Regional High School will celebrate the completion of its three-year construction project with a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 12 before the Homecoming football game against Oakcrest High School.

The newly renovated science annex will be dedicated to longtime board member and current board President John Medica, who was a member of MRHS’s first graduating class. The ceremony will include a presentation of a banner to be hung in the varsity gym honoring the dedication and career of recently retired, longtime Athletic Director George Evinski, who spent the last five decades working in the district.
