Presentation focuses on cancer testing
Atlantic Gastroenterology Associates and Gilda’s Club South Jersey are offering a complimentary seminar during Colon Cancer Awareness Month to explain genetic testing for colon cancer.
The event is sponsored by Myriad Genetics, one of the world’s leading molecular diagnostic companies. “Genetic Testing: What You Need To Know” set for 5 p.m. March 27 and will offer information and insight into how genetic testing works in detecting the potential for colon and some gynecological cancers before they actually occur. The evening will begin with a light dinner followed by the presentation at 6 p.m. at Gilda’s Clubhouse at 700 New Road in Linwood.
