Linwood police have arrested two Somers Point teenagers who allegedly made a drug transaction in a hallway at Mainland Regional High School.

Police made the arrest Nov. 30 after reviewing video surveillance at the school, which they say showed a 16-year-old female sold a controlled dangerous substance to a 14-year-old male.

The 16 year-old was charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance on school property, possession of a controlled dangerous substance packaged for distribution and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. The 14 year-old was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

Police did not identify the suspects due to their ages.

Both suspects were released to their parents pending court appearances, police said.
