An 85-year-old woman died following a motor vehicle accident in Northfield this morning.
Police said Patricia E Cademartori, 85, of Northfield, was traveling south on Wabash Avenue at 8:24 a.m. when she was struck by a Caring Inc. bus traveling west on West Mill Road.
The intersection has stop signs on Wabash Avenue in both directions.
First responders from the Northfield Fire Department, Shore Medical Center EMS and AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center treated the victim at the scene before she was transported to the AtlantiCare campus in Atlantic City, where she was later pronounced dead.
Northfield police are investigating the crash.
