Somers Point police hosting Coffee with Cops on Wednesday By ANJALEE KHEMLANI, Staff Writer The Press of Atlantic City Media Group
The Somers Point Police Department will be holding a Coffee with Cops porgram at the McDonald's in Somers Point on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Residents are invited for a free cup of coffee compliments of McDonalds.
This is the second morning event as part of the community outreach program, and Chief Michael Boyd said it is good public relations for the police department.
The event caters to a mostly senior-citizens crowd and the officers are out there to answer any questions or concerns, Boyd said.
