Somers Point—Two men were arrested on drug charges following a three-month police investigation and warrant searches of their Somers Point residences.

Somers Point Police arrested Baqi Evans, 31, and Robert Mobley, 34, both of Somers Point, on charges of possession of controlled dangerous substances, possession of heroin with intent to distribute and drug possession in a school zone.

Evans also had an active warrant on drug charges by the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office and on robbery charges by the Edison Police Department, Middlesex County.

Mobley has several active warrants by the Atlantic City Police Department.

Both were transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $100,000 bail.

Somers Point Police Detectives Robert Gray and Peter Burns orchestrated the investigation and subsequent arrests.
