Bruno graduates with honors at JMU

DeCicco honored

Michael A. DeCicco, of Northfield, recently was recognized as a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, a national leadership and honors organization at George Washington University. Sigma Alpha Lambda promotes and rewards academic achievement and provides members with opportunities for community service, personal development and professional fulfillment.

Sundra on dean’s list at RIT

James Sundra, of Northfield, a third-year student in the game design and development program in the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2013 semester at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.

Pushman named to dean’s list

Amy Pushman, of Linwood, was named to the spring 2013 dean’s list at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. Students who achieve a 3.4 and no grade below a C were named to the list.

Bank branch in Northfield honored

Ocean City Home Bank has honored its Northfield branch as the Branch of the Year.

In addition to being honored with a celebratory dinner, the branch earned a $500 donation to the charity of the staff’s choice, the Northfield Volunteer Fire Co.

The award is based on the branch’s performance in key areas, including accomplishing sales goals, maintaining operational efficiency, completing assigned marketing campaigns and adhering to compliance requirements. It is located at 331 Tilton Road. See

Weesner graduates from Delaware Valley

Daniel Weesner, of Northfield, was among the May 2013 graduates at Delaware Valley College.

Delaware Valley College is an independent, multi-disciplinary college with property in Bucks and Montgomery counties in Pennsylvania. It offers more than 20 undergraduate majors, five master’s programs and a variety of adult education courses.

Edwards graduates from Rhode Island

Anne T. Edwards, of Linwood, received a bachelor of science degree in nutrition and dietetics recently during the University of Rhode Island’s commencement exercises.
