New Jersey State Police are investigating a head-on crash between two cars on the Sea Isle City Bridge, which blocked traffic for about an hour Saturday afternoon.

A white Honda Accord, which was driven by Kevin McKelvey, 23, of Millville, was heading west on the Sea Isle Boulevard Bridge when it crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed head-on into a green Toyota Prius, which was driven by David Sicoli, 62, of Sea Isle City, police said in a news release. The bridge was closed in both directions for about an hour.

Both drivers were injured and airlifted to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. Police are investigating and charges are pending. Any witnesses are asked to contact the Woodbine Station at 609-861-5698.
