Artist reception moved to Nov. 16
Due to Hurricane Sandy, the Ocean City Fine Arts League has rescheduled the “Art on Asbury” Reception at Shore Medical Center to 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Shore Medical Center’s Surgical Pavillion on the second floor, in Somers Point. All artwork on display was created by local artists who reside in the South Jersey area and include Cape May County artists Rae Jaffe, Wanda Kline and Freddie Lamb.
The reception is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. All artwork is for sale.
Trail of Two Cities rescheduled for Nov. 17
The Trail of Two Cities 5K Run/Walk has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 17, due to the storm.
Registered runners can pick up their race packets Nov. 15 and 16 at the Aquatic & Fitness Center, 18th and Simpson.

Race morning registration starts 7 a.m. at the Transportation Center in Ocean City at Ninth Street and Haven Avenue, where the run/walk starts.
Buses will be available at the finish line at JFK Park in Somers Point to take runners to the start before the race. Buses will transport runners back to Ocean City at the conclusion of the race.
The 5K Run awards ceremony will be held at JFK Park after all 5K runners have finished.
All walk participants will be able to see their time as they complete the course.
