Tag and Treasure Sale set

A Tag and Treasure sale will take place 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at St. Damien’s gymnasium, 1337 Asbury Ave., Ocean City.

All proceeds benefit St. Damien’s St. Vincent de Paul Society and Ocean City Boy Scout Troop 32. Volunteers will accept donations of new or gently used items from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 8, 9 and 10. For information call 609-602-7848.

OCFAL offers films

The Ocean City Fine Arts League presents free pre-screened films featuring artists and art trends every month through December.

Movies are shown at 6:30 p.m. at the Ocean City Public Library, 1735 Simpson Ave. Oct.1: “Quiz Show,” directed by Robert Redford and starring Ralph Fiennes, Rob Morrow and John Turturro.

Church to hold rummage sale

St. John Lutheran church at 10th Street and Central Avenue will hold its annual fall rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 28.

Breakfast items, beverages, lunch and homemade baked goods also will be available for purchase. Proceeds will benefit in part, the Dan Ross Memorial Fund and St. John Mission and Ministry. Donations of gently used clothing, linens, small household appliances, kitchen items, toys, games, books and white elephants may be dropped off at the church on Sept. 25 and 26 from 9 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 7 p.m.
