OCCA meeting set

The Ocean City Community Association will hold its annual membership meeting from 10:30 a.m. to noon June 29 at the Howard Stainton Senior Citizens Center, at 18th Street and Haven Avenue in Ocean City. Refreshments will be provided.

The guest speaker will be Mayor Jay Gillian, giving a summary of things happening in town, with emphasis on the north and south end beach replenishment project, the status of the new FEMA Flood Map modifications; and the reorganization of city departments. Also featured will be speaker Kevin Redmond, president of the Ocean City Board of Realtors, to offer his perspective and answer questions on the local real estate industry. The mission of the Ocean City Community Association is to protect and promote the best interests of the property owners and residents of the City of Ocean City. OCCA members and prospective members ($10 annual dues) are invited.
