Alzheimer’s is subject of TED Talk
The TED talks continue 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, with Dr. Reisa Sperling discussing, “Can We Treat Alzheimer’s 20 Years Early?” Dr. Sperling is an associate professor of Medicine at Harvard and the director of the Harvard Aging Brain Study, who discusses how new imaging techniques help determine who will develop Alzheimer’s before symptoms show and why early detection and prevention research is the best defense against a disease we discover too late to treat.
Len Smith, the moderator, is a volunteer speaker for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Delaware Valley Chapter.
