Plane skids off runway at Ocean City airport By LEE PROCIDA, Staff Writer The Press of Atlantic City Media Group
A plane skidded off the runway at Ocean City Municipal Airport on Friday, but no one was injured and the runway remains open.
Airport supervisor Flo D’Avocato said a plane was landing when it veered into the grass off the runway. She said she was not sure why. No one was injured and police was not called.
“It was an incident, not an accident,” D’Avocato said.
