A 30-year-old man from Ocean City was arrested April 30 and charged with driving while intoxicated.

A 30-year-old woman from Ocean City was arrested May 1 and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana.

A 46-year-old man from Pleasantville was arrested May 2 and charged with possession of a hypodermic needle.

A 43-year-old man from Bridgeton was arrested May 2 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 21-year-old man from Pine Hill was arrested May 2 and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana.

There were 12 warrant arrests.

Upper Township

State Police in Trenton reported no significant arrests May 4-10 within Upper Township.

State Police troopers from Woodbine Station handled 539 calls for service within Upper Township in February. Thirty-two operation reports were completed in response to calls ranging from 911 hangups and alarms to reports of suspicious people. A total of 8 people were arrested on various criminal charges related to active criminal investigations initiated during this period. There were 13 motor vehicle accidents, with a total of 6 people injured. Troopers initiated 293 motor vehicle stops, making 5 DWI arrests, 5 drug-possession arrests and 3 warrant arrests, and conducted 103 property checks.

State Police troopers from Woodbine Station handled 569 calls for service within Upper Township in March. Fifty-one operation reports were completed in response to calls ranging from 911 hangups and alarms to reports of suspicious people. A total of 7 people were arrested various criminal charges related to active criminal investigations initiated during this period. There were 19 motor vehicle accidents, with a total of 6 people injured. Troopers initiated 280 motor vehicle stops, making 3 drug-possession arrests and 4 warrant arrests, and conducted 102 property checks.
