Washart wins national 4-H honors

Kate Washart, 19, of Seaville, competed recently at the Eastern National 4-H Horse Roundup Contest in Louisville, Ky. Washart earned seventh place nationally in the individual presentation phase of the competition. The New Jersey 4-H Presentations Team scored eighth overall. Washart is studying biology and chemistry at Washington College in Chestertown, Md.
