Cindy Lipton likes to have something to do while standing around, listening to music. That's why she made herself a collapsible Hula Hoop.

"I made it so I could take it with me to fesitvals," the 22-year-old Old Bridge woman said. "I can take it with me without it being too big and clunky."

Lipton uses the hoop, which is bedecked with multicolored ribbons, as she dances to the music, spinning it around her waist and moving to the sounds.

Lipton wasn't the only one with a hoop at Bader Field. Hula Hoops are big at festivals.

"People perform together. They compete. It's a lot of fun. I saw a couple of girls with hoops on the other side of the stage," she said.

On Saturday, Lipton was hanging out with Mike Sarnowski, 32, of Brooklyn. The pair had worked together Friday night selling beer at one of the vendor tents on site. On Saturday, Sarnowski was barechested, with two souvenirs of the night before on his chest.

"I found these on the bar," he said pointing to the pair of red star stickers he was using like pasties. "I'm just hanging out and having fun."
