The clouds obscured the sun in the late Saturday afternoon sky at the DMB Caravan, but the sunny songs from the Boston alternative rock band Guster was a bright spot on the Atlantic stage.

The quartet proved more popular than From Good Homes, who were playing at the same time on a different stage.

They had the crowd dancing from their first song, the uptempo tune titled "The Captain."

Guster has been a popular live attraction for two decades, and it was easy to see why during their set. Their happy songs are easily to sing along to, and they have been attracting new groups of college fans for years.

The band's harmonies added a great deal to their songs. Even for a song that was more of a ballad like "Satellite," fans had their hands in the air with their beer, and they were having a good time.
