Traffic on Route 9, north of Kesler Avenue, in Galloway Township. Route 9 looking south. Following the recommendation of the NJDOT, Galloway Township has instituted a no passing zone on Route 9. The site of the new no passing zone has been the location of accidents, some of them fatal. The DOT is implementing the no passing zone on Route 9 in the vicinity of Kesler Avenue, Old New York Road and Nacote Creek Bridge, Galloway Township.
