Pershing will be meeting with fans from 7 to 9 p.m. and 10:30 to 11:30 p.m., but she doesn't call it a night there. After Ego, Pershing is heading straight to the Casbah nightclub, where she will be joined by DJs Jordan Williams, Paulie Day and special guest DJ Unique as she hosts The Girls of Playboy Golf Casting Call. The lucky ladies chosen at the casting call by Playboy Golf representatives will be entered into the 2009 Playboy Scramble and could even win a trip to California for the Playboy Golf Finals.

The doors for the Casbah open at 10:30 p.m., and the casting call begins at 12:30 a.m. Admission is $20 for men and free for ladies. Call 609-449-1000.

If you find yourself in Vineland on Friday, April 17, you'll find yourself torn between two very impressive musical showcases, one at the Fuel House Coffee Company and the other at Hangar 84.

If your musical tastes are fueled by raw rock 'n' roll, then you'll probably opt for Hotspur's live performance. Fresh from its stints at the South By Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas, and the Warped Tour, the boys from Hangar 84 plan to show off tunes from their upcoming album, "You Should Know Better By Now," which is set to be released on June 23.

Hotspur plays at 7 p.m. at Hangar 84, 20 S. 6th St. in Vineland. Other bands on the roster for Friday's gig include Lights Resolve, The Volunteers, Solid State Emergency, Eye Sense Catastrophy and Long Story Short. Call 856-692-6283.

For the more mellow, wine-and-cheese-oriented crowd, the Fuel House Coffee Company is showcasing its first fine art and musical artist reception for Joel Howard. Howard will have more than 15 pieces of art on display, and he will also perform a live acoustic set for those in attendance. Other musicians set to play include Dominick Baruffi, Matthew Hyson and Jeffrey Caldwell. The show begins at 7 p.m. and admission is $8. If you'd like to partake in the wine and cheese tasting event, admission will be $15. The Fuel House is located at Bain's Deli at 636 E. Landis Ave. in Vineland. Call 856-563-1400.

For those of you in Cape May this Saturday, Natali Vineyards hosts its Blues and BBQ event with musical guest Geno White. A local fave, White has shared the stage with musicians such as Vinnie Moore, Leslie West and Carmine Appice. The event kicks off at noon and goes until 5 p.m. Admission is free. Natali Vineyards is located at 221 Delsea Drive in Cape May Court House. Call 609-465-0075.

Music buffs will also want to check out CD Exchange's annual party to celebrate National CD Store Day on Saturday. Located on Route 9 in Northfield, the music-lover's haven will feature a trivia contest, prize drawings, free hot dogs and soda, appearances by local radio DJs Marlene Aqua from Kool 98.3-FM and Mark Thompson from 102.7-FM, and live music by members of The Pedestrians at approximately 7 p.m. The store, which is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., will also offer $1 off everything in the store.
