So, what does Sunday have in store? The Somers Point Jazz Society is celebrating its Fourth Annual Summer Concert Series with the Brenda Bass Quintet, performing at 8 p.m. at Gregory's Restaurant, 900 Shore Road in Somers Point.

Bass is known for her broad musical talent on various instruments, including the trumpet, piano and guitar, as well as her songwriting. She has performed with jazz greats such as Mel Torme, Clark Terry, Frank Foster and Tom Harrell. Joining Bass for this show are Andy Lalasis on bass, Frank Gattas on drums and Rich Budesa on piano and guitar. Expect some additional, surprise guests throughout the performance.
