Tree of Hope ceremony: Cape Assist’s annual Tree of Hope program will be held 6 p.m. Dec. 8 at 3819 New Jersey Ave., Wildwood. The event is open to the public. It is sponsored by Sturdy Savings Bank and the Windrift Restaurant. Ornaments may be purchased and dedicated to those struggling with and recovering from addiction. Ornaments range from $10 to $100. Movie night at Millville Airport: The Millville Army Air Field Museum will host a movie night 6 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Henry E. Wyble Research Library at the airport. The movie will be “Field Assembly of the P-47.” Guest speaker will be World War II veteran Carl May, a B-26 pilot who flew 32 missions in Europe. The program is free, but donations are accepted. Holiday toy drive: Stafford Township Police Benevolent Association Local 297 and Stafford Recreation are conducting their annual holiday toy drive. The public is invited to bring donations of new, unwrapped gifts for boys and girls, newborn through age 18, to the Police Department at the Stafford Township Municipal Building, 260 East Bay Ave., Manahawkin, the Bay Avenue Community Center or the Pine Street Recreation Building.
