Economic & Energy Assistance Resource Expo: United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, in partnership with the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office R.E.AL. Help Program, will sponsor an Economic & Energy Assistance Resource Expo from 1 to 6 p.m. March 23 at St. Gianna Beretta Molla Church, 1421 New Road, Northfield. The event will provide community members in need of assistance with connections to local programs and services. It is free to attend. Representatives from South Jersey Gas, Atlantic City Electric, O.C.E.A.N. Inc., New Jersey American Water and others will be available to provide information and answer questions on local programs and process assistance applications. Princess Inc. scholarship event: The fourth annual scholarship and awards ceremony will be held 5:30 p.m. June 15 at The Historic Smithville Inn, 1 N. New York Road in Galloway Township. Families United education event: The 12th annual Families United Network curriculum, book and educational items sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 1 at the Community/Recreation Center, 1790 Route 50, Tuckahoe. More than 40 sellers with curriculum items at discounted prices will be available. There will be breakfast and lunch concessions, a raffle with prizes and seminars. Mammograms offered: Atlantic Medical Imaging’s Dr. Jan Astin Mobile Digital Mammography Van will be stationed March 28 at Lower Cape May Regional High School, Cape May. YMCA beach party: The Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA/YMCA of Vineland invites families for games, swimming, crafts, snacks and more from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. March 30 at the Kontes Pool and the MilamFamilyMultipurposeCenter in the Y at 1159 East Landis Ave. Participants are asked to preregister by March 29. The cost is $8 for community members, $6 for Y program members and free for Y facility members. Children in the water must be accompanied by an adult. Bathing suits are required.
