Holiday tree lighting: MainStreet Hammonton will hold its annual tree lighting program 6 p.m. Saturday at Central and Bellevue avenues. Rain date is Sunday. Recycling cans available: The borough’s Sustainable Green Team will distribute recycling containers to residents from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Public Works Garage, 401 Madison Ave. Proof of residency is required. Holiday parade marchers needed: The volunteer fire company will host the borough’s annual Christmas parade 6 p.m. Dec. 10 and invites residents and neighboring municipalities to participate. Participants will line up 5 p.m. along Bryant Street. The parade will conclude at the firehouse on DeHirsch Avenue. Santa will join the mayor in lighting the tree on the bike path.
