As of Friday morning, no schools in the area had indicated that they would close Friday or open late due to the weather. A number of schools are already closed Friday for Presidents Day weekend.

Atlantic County

An Economic and Energy Assistance Expo scheduled for Thursday at the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing has been postponed until Feb. 20 at noon.


NJ Transit is offering a system-wide, cross-honoring program through Friday. Customers can use their ticket or pass on an alternate travel mode, including rail, light rail or bus.

That means customers who normally take a bus between Atlantic City and Lindenwold, which has a PATCO high-speed line stop, can use the Atlantic City Rail Line for that trip at no extra charge.

NJ Transit is warning schedules may be affected by the storm.
