BALTIMORE - Actor Chazz Palminteri is bringing a taste of the Bronx to Baltimore.

The actor known for roles in "The Usual Suspects" and "A Bronx Tale" says he decided to open a restaurant in Baltimore because that's where his search for the perfect Italian meal ended. Palminteri says he was so impressed with a meal he had at Aldo's Ristorante Italiano in 2009 that he went back 10 times and eventually decided to open a place with the founder and his son.

Palminteri, who lives in New York, has been traveling weekly to Baltimore and has been conducting an exhaustive pizza tour of the New York area with actors Stephen and Billy Baldwin. The actor says the Harbor East restaurant will be called Chazz: A Bronx Original. He says it will feature a coal-fired pizza oven and visits from his friends.
