Art show in Ocean City

The Ocean City Fine Arts League established its theme for its show this month, which is "tree," to signify the change of seasons and highlight all of the foliage. The show hangs through this month.

In the southern New Jersey area, more than 75 pieces of artwork were submitted in a variety of mediums from beaded sculpture, mixed media collage and oil painting to photography, pastel and watercolor. The artwork is on display and for sale during the rest of this month. Marilyn Brent of Linwood was awarded first place for her oil painting "Dogwood and Spruce Wood."

If You Go: The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays at the Ocean City Fine Arts League, "Art on Asbury," 608 Asbury Ave., Ocean City. For more information, call 609-814-0308 or visit oceancityfineartsleague.org
