Hall & Oates at Borgata

Who Are They: During the second half of the 1970s and throughout the 1980s, Hall & Oates assaulted the masses with their blue-eyed Philadelphia pop-and-soul sound, scoring six No. 1 singles and six platinum albums.

What To Expect: With their infectious pop melodies, soulful rhythms and straight-ahead approach, Hall & Oates were among the most consistent hitmakers of the late 1970s and early-to-mid-1980s. Among the songs they performed in March in New York City were "Maneater," "Out of Touch," "She's Gone," "Say It Isn't So," "Rich Girl" and "Private Eyes." They last performed in Atlantic City in March at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa.

Event Info: The concert starts at 8 tonight in the Event Center at Borgata. Tickets, priced at $55, $65 and $85, are available at the Borgata box office or through ComcastTix at 800-298-4200 or www.theborgata.com

Foreigner at the Tropicana

Who Are They: Foreigner was one of several successful rock bands from the late '70s. Guitarist Mick Jones founded the group and is a still a member. He is joined by vocalist Kelly Hansen, saxophonist and guitarist Tom Gimbel, bassist Jeff Pilson, keyboardist Michael Bluestein and drummer Brian Tichy.

What To Expect: Foreigner's combination of power ballads and rock anthems lent itself perfectly to the arena-rock genre of the 1970s and 1980s. During a concert last month in Luxembourg, the band performed its hit songs, which include "Double Vision," "Head Games," "Urgent," "Hot Blooded," "Cold As Ice" and "Dirty White Boy." The group last performed in Atlantic City last August at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort.
