Harpist Kimberly Rowe at Rowan University

Who Is She: Philadelphia harpist Kimberly Rowe has performed in Atlantic City with such artists as Tony Bennett, Bernadette Peters and Josh Groban. She has also shared a stage with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. Her solo work has taken her to Tokyo, and she has also performed aboard the QE2 ocean liner.

What To Expect: Rowe will be joined on stage by four other harpists - guest artists Maryanne Meyer and Peter Speziale, and Rowan students Andrea Chieffo and Elsie Albone. The musicians will offer a program that includes Bernard Andres' "Absidioles" and Marcel Tournier's "Sonatine." In addition, flutist Ed Schultz and violist Shelley Weiss will accompany Rowe on Bernard Rands' "Prelude."

Event Info: The recital will be held at 8 tonight in the Boyd Recital Hall, located in Wilson Hall on the campus of Rowan University in Glassboro. The event is free, with seating on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call 856-256-4545 or visit www.rowan.edu/fpa
