The Egg Harbor Township pop duo Destinee & Paris Monroe will ride the official IKEA float and will headline an interpretation of Michael Jackson’s “We Are The World’ and “Heal The World” during  the 6 ABC / IKEA Thanksgiving Day Parade between 9 a.m. and noon Thursday on WPVI-TV 6.

Choirs from the Anne Frank Elementary School and the CB West High School Choir will accompany the two girls, formerly members of the trio The Clique Girlz. The performance will be filled with international costumes and adorned with flags from around the world. The duo will be part of a lineup that includes percussionist and singer Sheila E. and Kimberly Caldwell, a former “American Idol” contestant.

The duo also will perform the National Anthem for the Philadelphia Eagles football team at 1 p.m. Sunday. Their debut CD is to be released next year. The pair also have been tapped to appear in an upcoming public service announcement campaign for PETA that launches early next year.
