Koresh Dance Company at Stockton

What Is It: Philadelphia's Koresh Dance Company was founded in 1991 by Israel-born choreographer Ronen Koresh. The company features a repertoire of more than 50 original dance pieces. The group has received local, national and international recognition for its distinctive dance style.

What To Expect: The troupe blends ballet, modern and jazz dance in emotional and explosive performances. The San Antonio Express has said, " This is an exciting company, with choreography full of surprises and dancers equipped to execute the often-stunning shifts in dynamic and mood. They consistently astonish with their skill, when all nine of them move together as a unit, they become a single entity, a piece of life moving as if with one heartbeat. "

Event Info: The dancers take the stage 7:30 tonight at the Stockton Performing Arts Center, on the college campus in Galloway Township. Ticket are $15 and are available by calling the box office at 609-652-9000 or online at www.stockton.edu/pac
