Boyz II Men at Resorts

Who Are They: In the 1990s, the Philadelphia-based quartet Boyz II Men became the most commercially successful R&B group ever.

What To Expect: The three current members of Boyz II Men are Shawn Stockman, Nathan Morris and Wanya Morris. They performed in July at the House of Blues Atlantic City in the Showboat Casino-Hotel. The tunes they sang during that engagement included "Motownphilly," "On Bended Knee," "Mama," "Water Runs Dry" and "I'll Make Love To You."

Show Info: Boyz II Men entertains at 8 p.m. today in the Superstar Theater at Resorts Atlantic City. Tickets, priced at $35 and $45, can be purchased through ComcastTix by calling 800-298-4200.

Music festival in Cape May County

What Is It: Access to Art holds its 12th annual Sam Maitin Summer Chamber Music Festival featuring Philadelphia Orchestra violinist Anna Marie Ahn Petersen and Steinway piano artist Aurelia Mika Chang.

What To Expect: They will perform works by J.S. Bach, Carl Maria von Weber, Alexander Glazunov, Sergey Prokofiev and Enrique Granados. They will perform two selected pieces from the ballet "Romeo & Juliet." Chang and Peterson were part of the Mondrian Ensemble formed in 1992 for Access to Art to begin the summer chamber-music series.

Event Info: The opening event of the festival takes place at 8 p.m. today at Our Lady of the Angel's R.C. Church, 35 E. Mechanic St. and the Garden State Parkway, Cape May Court House. Hip-hop legends at HOB

Who Are They: The lineup is a who's who of old-school hip-hop featuring Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, Biz Markie and Schoolly D.

What To Expect: Schoolly D's set showcases graphic depictions of urban life, including his songs "Saturday Night" and "Smoke Some Kill." Originally from England, Slick Rick wears an eyepatch and is best known for a series of rap recordings during the 1980s, including "La Di Da Di" and "Children's Story." Doug E. Fresh is one of rap's earliest stars and is known for his beatbox abilities. A Harlem native, Biz Markie mined the lighter side of rap with his off-key rhymes on his biggest hit, "Just a Friend."

Baby parade in Vineland

What Is It: The Second annual Baby Parade takes place in downtown Vineland.

What To Expect: "Hollywood Babies" is the theme. The entry classes are babies (age 2 and under) and toddlers (age three to five). Winners will be judged in three categories - most-creative costume, most-creative costume and float and chubbiest cheeks. The baby parade is part of the Fresh and Specialty Foods Market, sponsored by the Vineland Downtown Improvement District (VDID)/Main Street Vineland and Sun National Bank.

What Is It: A kite-flying event takes place in Cape May.

What To Expect: The event will include kites of all types and sizes, as well as kite making and flying, racing, demonstrations and lessons.
