"Steel Pier" book launch
What Is It: Author Steve Liebowitz, above. comes to the Atlantic City Historical Museum today to officially kick off sales of "Steel Pier, Atlantic City: Showplace of the Nation," his new book detailing the history of the Atlantic City landmark.
What To Expect: Liebowitz has had a 40-year interest in the Steel Pier and its history, so expect lots of stories and reminiscing about the good old days on the landmark. Also attending the event will be Atlantic City Historical Museum President Bob Ruffolo and Atlantic City historian Allen "Boo" Pergament, who contributed many of the pictures found in the coffee table-type book.
