'Social Security' in Cape May
What Is It: "Social Security" is a play set in the chic art world of New York City in the 1980s. David and Barbara Kahn are prominent art dealers who are living the high life until Barbara's sister and brother-in-law step into the picture. Hilarity ensues when they bring along their irritable, 70-something grandmother and turn the Kahns' lives upside down.
What To Expect: The Cape May Stage has gathered an all-star cast including real-life couple Lynn Cohen, who starred as Magda, the housekeeper in both the TV series and movie version of "Sex and the City," and Ronald Cohen, who has been a part of several acting groups from New York, including the New York Classical Theatre and the Boomerang Theatre Company.
Event Info: The show begins 8 p.m. at the Cape May Stage Robert Shackleton Playhouse, located at Bank and Lafayette streets in Cape May. The show will run Tuesdays through Sundays until Aug. 29. Tickets are $35 for adults, $25 for seniors and $12.50 for children. For more information, call 609-884-1341.
