What Is It: More than 40 volunteers, working with director Mark Melamed, present Frank Loesser's "Guys and Dolls."
What To Expect: Carrie Cohen, who plays the role of Miss Adelaide, is relentless in her desire to marry Nathan Detroit, who is portrayed by Paul Bossi Sr. Deena Parr is innocent Sarah Brown, who is wooed by Sky Masterson, played by Carl Dolente. The musical opened on Broadway during the 1950s, and there have been five revivals of it since then.
Event Info: The musical will be performed at 7 tonight and Saturday night, and 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Veterans' Memorial School at Chestnut Avenue and Main Road, Vineland. For more information, call the school at 856-794-6918.

What Is It: This is a long weekend of festive tours and food-and-wine events to start celebrating the holidays early and put participants in the Christmas spirit.
What To Expect: Tours include: the "Taste of Christmas Tour" at 11 a.m. today, which includes a walking tour of the historic district and lunch at the Mad Batter Restaurant. The event is $20 for adults and $15 for children, with reservations required. There also will be Christmas tree lighting from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. in Cape May.
