Over the Rainbow in Ocean City
What Is It: Over the Rainbow is not a tribute band. Rather, it is a mix of five original members of the band Rainbow from different periods in its long run. Over the Rainbow consists of Joe Lynn Turner on vocals, Paul Morris on keyboards, Bobby Rondinelli on drums, Greg Smith on bass and J.R. Blackmore, son of the band's original founder Ritchie Blackmore, on guitar.
What To Expect: Since the mid-1970s when Rainbow was formed, the group has recorded 20 albums and reached the Billboard Hot 100 and Mainstream Rock tracks lists seven times. Its hits include "Man on the Silver," "Catch the Rainbow" and "Street of Dreams."
