Michael Pedicin Quintet at Stockton

What Is It: Coming off a gig at the recent Cape May Jazz Festival, the Michael Pedicin Quintet takes the stage at Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Pedicin began his career in Philadelphia, and has spent more than a decade as a studio musician. His work can be found on tracks by The O'Jays, Lou Rawls and Stevie Wonder. Pedicin is a fixture on the local entertainment scene, frequently playing at area clubs and lounges.

What To Expect: With a saxophone style that has been compared to John Coltrane, Pedicin is a familiar performer in southern New Jersey. Pedicin has released a total of eight albums, the latest being "Everything Starts Now ...," so expect to hear some tracks from that disc.

Event Info: The show starts 7:30 tonight at the Stockton Performing Arts Center i•Galloway Township. Tickets are $15. Call 609-652-9000.
