Ballet on the A.C. Boardwalk

The Atlantic City Ballet will do outdoor ballet performances today, Saturday and Sept. 28 on the Atlantic City Boardwalk at Kennedy Plaza.

Ballet performances on the Boardwalk should last about an hour. After the shows, the ballet company will hold workshops that give Hurricane Sandy survivors an opportunity to work with Atlantic City Ballet Master Kristaps Kikulis to use movement to communicate their own Sandy experience. Movements from the workshops will be incorporated into a new ballet, titled "In the Eye of The Storm" (Healing and Recovery Through Dance)."

The free outdoor ballet performances take place at 6 p.m. today, Saturday and Sept. 28 at the plaza, which is across from Boardwalk Hall, 2301 Boardwalk, Atlantic City. For more information, call 609-804-1995 or visit
