Beatles tribute show in A.C.
They play authentic instruments, wear the right suits and have the iconic mop-top haircuts. But it isn’t the visuals that make “1964 ... The Tribute” worth checking out tonight at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City.
In a field filled with Beatles tribute acts, this show has been described by Rolling Stone as “The best Beatles tribute on Earth,” high praise from the iconic rock magazine.
The band has been featured on TV and has released its own albums, filled with their covers of classic Beatles tunes. Fans attending tonight’s show should expect 90 minutes of music that will let them experience what it was like to catch a performance by the Fab Four at the height of Beatlemania.
If you go: The show begins 8 p.m. tonight in the Golden Nugget. Tickets are $29.95, $39.95 and $49.95 and are available at Ticketmaster.com or 800-736-1420.
