Poll time! This week, we're taking a look at the odd saga of Vinny, who's gone from background noise to major player in the course of just a few hours.
You wonder if the show can take another dominant personality. I've compared Vinny to Klinger from "M*A*S*H" before, and I stand by it... Every show needs their supporting players, their Situations and Snookis. And yet here's good ol' Vinny muscling his way to the front of the line.
Makes you wonder why? Did it take him this long to feel comfortable with everyone? Did he realize more headlines means more money? Or did he simply step forward to fill the void when Mike and Pauly didn't provide enough spark, and one-trick pony Ronnie settled back into smush mode with Sammi?
We may never know. But what we can do is chime in on what we think Vinny's reinvention means to "Jersey Shore." Vote early and often, then come back tomorrow for a few thoughts in the runup to Sunday's new episode preceding the VMAs.
