Who Is He: Throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, Michael Bolton's blend of blue-eyed pop and soul landed the singer at the top of the charts. Bolton, 60, performs tonight at Harrah's Resort.

What To Expect: Bolton has retained a sizable fan base that is still willing to shell out money to see the mainstream soft-rock singer do his thing. Bolton performed in June in Oklahoma. His setlist included the songs "Time, Love & Tenderness," "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You," "Said I Loved You... But I Lied" and "How Can We Be Lovers."

Eileen Ivers at Landis

Who Is She: A Grammy Award winner, Eileen Ivers, 47, is one of the great innovators and pioneers in celtic and world musics. She is a founding member of Cherish The Ladies. She performs tonight at the Landis Theater.

What To Expect: Ivers plays everything from the most tender Irish ballads to the most exuberant reels. During the past seven years, she has played material that includes a more pop-style song "Reconcili-ation," the bluegrass/blues-infused "Blizzard Train," the traditional song "Flowing Tide" and the 300-year-old tune "Loftus Johns." She performs with her band, Immigrant Soul.

Running of the Leprechauns at Tropicana

What Is It: The people who brought you the Running of the Santas are bringing back to Atlantic City the Running of the Leprechauns. It is a St. Patrick's Day festive pub crawl taking place tonight throughout the Tropicana Casino and Resort. People can dress as their favorite leprechaun or just wear some green.

What To Expect: From 10 tonight to midnight, revelers can take advantage of food and drink specials. A portion of the proceeds from the Running of the Leprechauns benefits the Ellie Koerner Leukemia Foundation. Boogie Nights will offer free admission to anyone with a leprechaun wristband tonight with specials on Guinness, Jameson shots and green fishbowls. Firewaters, Hooters and A Dam Good Sports Bar will offer $5 Guinness draughts, $6 Jameson shots and platters of corned beef and cabbage for $3. The sexy leprechaun contest takes place 11: 30 p.m. at A Dam Good Sports bar with a chance to win a $250 gift card.

Learn wildlife gardening

What Is It: Pat Sutton, right, shares her 30-plus years of wildlife gardening expertise in a series of five workshops designed for property owners. The first one will be held today at the Cape May Bird Observatory for Research & Education in Cape May Court House.

What To Expect: Sutton is a naturalist and an educator. "Create a backyard habitat for wildlife" is the topic for the first workshop. Although each workshop can stand on its own, each is designed to serve as a foundation for the next. In addition to handouts, the workshops include question and answer sessions, working lunches, open discussions and site visits. The session will be in-depth and fact filled with learning opportunities that will be site specific to each gardener's situation.
